Qibing Development and Education Foundation (QDEF) is a South African registered Non-Profit Organization (NPO) established on 15 June 2023 to become a Community Support System and Youth Development Initiative. The Foundation is aimed at developing empowered, competent and self-sufficient communities, through investing in human development initiatives and sustainable income- generating projects. We strive to provide essential community development initiatives and commodities to identified underprivileged community members and youth and people living with disabilities.

WHO ARE WE
Objectives
- Establish and strengthen Community Based Organizations (CBOs)
- Provide access to business and job opportunities for Young People.
- Establish community safety champion teams in high crime areas
- Establish Justice Forum to act as a mouthpiece of victims of crime and monitor progress on their cases.
- Establish partnerships with various strategic government departments and stakeholders (Education, Health, Social Development, Moral Regeneration, Sports, and Recreation etc.).
- To organize training courses by empowering our community members with entrepreneurial skills such
as but not limited to the following:
- Sewing
- Carpentry/Woodwork
- Upholstery
- Entrepreneurship
- Food gardening
- Work readiness
- Adult Education and Training (AET)
- Agriculture and farming
- Promote “Unity through Diversity” in QIBING WEPENER and surrounding areas
- To network with similar groups, government department and organizations and private organizations and persons to achieve the above objectives.
